Avalanche vs. Lightning Stanley Cup Final Game 4 score: Nazem Kadri lifts Colorado to 3-2 overtime win

The Colorado Avalanche rallied from a 2-1 third-quarter deficit and is now just one win away from lifting its third Stanley Cup in franchise history. Center Nazem Kadri scored the winning goal at 12:02 of extra time.

The finish was not without controversy as the puck seemed to get stuck on top of the net after crossing the goal line. Kadri received the puck from teammate Artturi Lehkonen, blasted his way through the Tampa defense and beat goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy over the top.

It was Kadri’s first game since being injured in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals against the Edmonton Oilers. Kadri was controlled by Oilers forward Evander Kane and was forced to have thumb surgery.

It also marked just the second time the Lightning has lost at home during the 2022 postseason.
