At this point, it almost seems silly to pay full price for a PlayStation game. Cool on the heels of a big sale for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, Sony has released another. It’s not as good as last month’s, but it’s not bad, especially for those who have been putting off some of the biggest games of the last generation, like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla either Axe: Shadows die twice.

announced yesterday in a blog post, the annual PlayStation Summer Sale runs from today until Wednesday, July 6. While the previous sale focused on first-party games, specifically some of the biggest PS5 games, this month highlights cross-gen games from third-party publishers. Here is a selection:

  • Ubisoft’s Viking-themed murder sim Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is down 60% to $24. (Valhalla also included in the game library for Sony’s revamped PS Plus.)
  • Same price point and discount percentage for Republic of Ridersthe massively multiplayer action sports game from Ubisoft.
  • The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and all of its downloadable content is currently priced at $10. It will receive a next-gen update later this year.
  • Axe: Shadows die twicewhat some fans say is the best action game in FromSoft’s oeuvre, is half price at $30.
  • Mass Effect Legendary Editionthe included 4K respray from BioWare’s totemic trilogy of space RPGs is also $24.
  • at $32, hit man 3deluxe edition ofA version of the popular stealth puzzler that includes a ton of bonus content, is now officially included at a lower price than the base edition.
  • bandai namco Scarlet Nexus it’s half off $30.
  • Shadow of the Tomb Raiderthe third entry in Square Enix’s reboot of the long-running action series, is $13. (It also has a demo.)
  • In case you haven’t felt overwhelmed by LotR fatigue, virtually endless open world Middle-earth: Shadow of War It’s down to $7.
  • episodic narrative adventure life is strange 2 has dropped from $32 to $12. (Individual chapters are $4 each.)
  • Anthem it’s $6, lol.

You can see the full list on PlayStation Blog, though note that it doesn’t state how much each game is discounted or what they’re currently listed on. You will have to go to PlayStation Store directly to see that.
